I got the cool opportunity to collaborate with MOO and AIGA Austin to create an Austin, Texas themed postcard for MOO's Inspiration Station at SXSW 2019. The intention was to showcase a few of Austin's local artists while also creating designs that would showcase the quality of MOO's print products.
The inspiration for my design comes from the presence of Austin's waterways and natural areas -- the river, the springs and the green belt. These natural sources are symbolic of rejuvenation and replenishing inspiration. I draw parallels between the flow of water and the flow of passion and ideas. I want to encourage people to embrace their own creative flow, to be authentic, and get their ideas out there.
